General Objective:
The TAU – LS seeks to achieve the following objectives:
1.      To develop the specific potentials of each individual – the moral, spiritual, cultural, socio-civic and physical aspects of his personality for his and society’s benefits;
2.      To develop in the individual the sense of belonging to a national community;
3.      To develop intellectual and work skills in the individual focused on the values that he must develop for the meaningful and purposeful utilization of his skills;
4.      To provide a sound criteria on recruitment, promotion, demotion, termination and reshuffling or related personnel action on the laboratory high school ; and
5.      To develop a sound system appraisal, evaluation and feedback and program planning on the physical, fiscal and infrastructure activities of the LHS.

Specific Objectives :
1. To strengthen instruction in all subject areas through adequate professional teacher training and material support.

2. To increase agricultural productivity through integrated farming system operated     according to the agri-business concept and train students to become entrepreneurs.

3. To achieve greater efficiency of work performance through continuing program of faculty development.

4. To provide for the acquisition of instructional technology that will ensure an efficient delivery of knowledge and their calculation of desirable values, skills, habits, and attitudes.

TAU-LS is one of College of Education program that consist of Junior High School and Senior High School program. Junior High School have 4 years of basic education started grade 7 to 10, Senior High School have 2 years of basic education started grade 11 and 12.

TAU-LS have unique system for Junior High School it have :
1. Science and Technology Curriculum
2. Agriculture-Homemaking Curriculum.
While in Senior High School it have academic of :
1. Accoutancy, Businesss and Management
2. Humanities and social Science
3. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
4. Agriculture and Home Economics

1.2 Academic Support System
The classrooms are quite big because there are about 50 students in the class, they have one big chalkboard and one big television at the center in front of the class for the teacher to show the slides. The classrooms are comfortable and completed with a lot of fans.
1.3 Teaching System
Learning hold for 5 days in a week, from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday is a freeday. The class start from 7.30 a.m to 5.00 p.m. they only have one break time, at 11.30 a.m to 1.00 p.m. Each grade has different time for teaching in different subject. In junior high schol, The students learn all of the subject every day for one hour each subject. So, for Mathematics there are one hour of teaching a day and four days in a week. In senior high school, the students learn mathematics for two hours in day for two days in a week.

1.4 Material and Other Learning Sources
Every subject has two types of books, they are teacher’s book and student’s book. Teacher book is a book for teacher as the guide to teach and student’s book is for students. The other learning sources is the materials from internal that used by the teacher for teaching. They also have TV to use during the class discussions, powerpoint presentations, video presentations, and etc.
1.5  Measurement and Other Learning Sources
The system of the evaluation in this school is every quarter year the teacher will report about the progress of the students and every end of the year there is a appreciate moments for the best students every class.

1.6 Curriculum
Tarlac Agricultural University Laboratory School use K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. The curriculum aims to help learners acquire highly-developed literacy skills that enable them to understand that English language is the most widely used medium of communication in Trade and the Arts, Sciences, Mathematics, and in world economy.
Furthermore, the curriculum aims to help learners understand that English language is a dynamic social process which responds to and reflects changing social conditions, and that English is inextricably involved with values, beliefs and ways of thinking about ourselves and the world we dwell in.  Through multi-literacy skills, learners will be able to appreciate and be sensitive to socio-cultural diversity and understand that the meaning of any form of communication depends on context, purpose and audience.
1.7  Teaching Plan
Before teaching, the teacher always prepare lesson plan. There are two types of lesson plans in TAU, the detailed lesson plan and brief lesson plan (semi detailed). The lesson plan consists Objectives, Subject Matter (Topic, Subtopic, Material, and references), Teaching Strategies/Procedure, Developmental Activities, Lesson Proper/Presentation, Generalization, Evaluation, and Agreement/Assignment. The lesson plan has 3 or 4 pages of papers per meeting, the topics just for a day, it is more simple than the lesson plan in Indonesia. In Indonesia, lesson plan is more than 10 pages of papers because it has one topic not only for a day.
